In this 3-hour workshop participants will learn how to accomplish radiology hands-free positioning for all anatomy of the small animal patient. Participants will learn how to use mechanical restraint, or a combination of mechanical/chemical restraints, to achieve a diagnostic quality small animal radiology study. A combination of trough, sandbags, wedges and tape can help you accomplish a hands-free study.
A discussion of best radiation safety practices for all staff and best safety practices for the patient will be included.
